Cinnamon Tatum-Founder
Born in Peoria, IL and raised in southern California, Cinnamon became interested in the paranormal after having an unexplained experience at a very young age. “To this day, I’m still not sure if it was truly paranormal or the traumatic events that had occurred in my life up to that point and the stress I was under at the time. Nevertheless, I was determined to search for answers either way.” Since then, she’s been consumed with everything and anything paranormal. In September of 2005 she formed The Gulf States Paranormal Society. “When I first started out and the word spread, people I had known and worked with for years who I didn’t think would be remotely interested in the paranormal were joining us. We ended up with a really amazing team. We’re all very close friends, have great chemistry and work well together. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people. We’re a family.”
This first year has been an incredible learning experience for them. “We’re still new to the field but are committed and determined to keep searching for answers to all of our questions regarding the unexplained. I myself am more inclined to believe that death is not the end…that we continue on in some form, but I still want proof. For me, seeing is believing."
Cinnamon has a wicked creative streak which in her spare time she satisfies by doing graphic art, web design and writing poetry. Some of which has been published. She also loves traveling, music of all types and of course reading anything she can get her hands on regarding the field of paranormal research.
