John Martin
Born in 1973 in Miami, FL John was a very clever and inquisitive child. Constantly being pulled out of trees by the local mailman (back when it was safe to trust others in the neighborhood) His mother would say he was a pain in the butt.
John's interest in the paranormal began when he was about nine yrs old. "I found myself waking up in the middle of the night with the sensation that I was floating above my bed, scaring myself silly one night as it felt as though I opened my eyes and fell to the bed." It could have been an overactive imagination but he continued having different experiences including one where his bed covers were being pulled off of him in the middle of the night, and sensations of always being watched by an unseen force.
As a teenager, he began dabbling in the occult, seeking out all of the information he could find about spells, witchcraft, and the paranormal. He read all types of books that would feed his fascination to new levels. This fascination gave way to a type of “hero” complex and wanting to protect those around him.
When John turned 21 years old, he joined the Marine Corps. Continuing his need to be a savior of a sort. He spent 4 years having a blast until he broke his ankle. After surgery and 6 months of rehab, his Marine years were done. He was honorably discharged in 2000.
John has been working in the cellular phone industry for the past 6+ years. He is happily married to a fantastic woman and is a proud father of four beautiful children. He found a kindred spirit in Cinnamon and shares her dedication in seeking answers to all things paranormal. He has a true passion for mysteries and believes in the famous philosophy “When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbably, must be the truth.” The Sign of the Four, ch.6 (1890)
